Me/E fast cast AoE's . I can't say it's very effective, but watching mobs run into my Lava Fonts is .

Doesn't work any more - since the PvE skills were rebalanced to be less sensitive to rank, 16 Illusion only gives level 20 allies, and when you only need rank 5 or so to get 17, it's not worth the elite slot.

Maybe if you piled on blessings and consumables, but that could get expensive...

Interrupting monks is fun, especially in PvP when they run around clueless as they took tons of damage that they don't know how to heal for...

You're blatantly lying because:

a) Patient Spirit exists.

b) Anything the monk is damaged by pops up on the left of the screen (by default).

c) You do not do tons of damage through interrupts because of either or both a) or b)

He casts Spirit Bond or Protective Spirit on himself and heals, taking less pressure based on himself, and possibly Veiling either VoR or Backfire. Not that it's not a retarded combo anyway, though.

if u think VoR and Backfire is a retarded combo then u gotta try it out more, in PVE ive seen a monk boss heal itself to death with that combo,(the one in the cipher quests) and i use VoR and backfire most of the times in HM and it owns, yeh i dont take WW for PVE but in PVP it works really well..and ive been playing mesmer for 2 years and i think it's a wonderfull class to play in PVE and PVP
